The Smart Panel is an eCommander accessory which allows you to monitor the energy usage and control the device remotely by making them a part of Home Area Network (HAN). All communication between the Smart Panel and eCommander is performed using the existing powerline infrastructure -- requiring no extra cabling.

Smart Panel connection and registration with eCommander

Step 1
Note down the 12 digit NID lD printed on the back side of Smart Panel.
Step 2
Connect L and N of Smart Panel to the connector provided.
Step 3
Connect Mains Line power cable to L and Neutral Line power cable to N.
Left the intermediate pin open.
Step 4
In the same way connect appliance power cables from the switch board
to smart panel L1 - L5 pins.
Step 5
Fit the smart panel inside the wall box and make sure that the screws are well tighten.
Step 6
Fit the switch board. If during fitting the switch board, any connector is hindering to panel then remove the switch/connector and insert the blank plates in the switch board.
Step 7
Go to the homepage on eCommander.
Step 8
Touch the Menu icon, it will slide out the menu.
Step 9
Touch the Device Control icon in the menu. It will open Device Control Page.
Step 10
Touch the Device Registration icon. It will show the Device Registration page. You will see list of information which helps to register Smart Panel with eCommander.
Step 11
Touch the Automatic icon to register device automatically.
Step 12
Enter the 12 digit NID which you have noted before and enter it again to confirm.
Step 13
After few seconds it shows the Smart Panel is been registered.
